Seven Equity Group ("SEG") is a real estate owner, developer and operator focused on managing and redeveloping retail, mixed use and multi-family buildings in major U.S. markets. Our company has a strong commitment to investments in emerging and established neighborhoods and prides itself on a proactive and ethical approach to management. Our in-house team is comprised of experts in management, engineering, accounting, finance, and construction.
Ray Falack is the Managing Principal and driving force behind SEG's day to day activities. Prior to SEG, Ray spent seven years at Wells Fargo where he held various senior positions in Wells Fargo’s Corporate Investment Banking Group and Distressed Real Estate Groups. Ray originated over $3 billion of new credit for the bank and managed, repositioned, leased, worked out and sold over $500 million in distressed real estate and notes in both the San Francisco and New York offices. Ray is a graduate of Wells Fargo’s Credit Management Training Program. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Ray worked on Deutsche Bank's High Yield Sales and Trading desk where he primarily traded homebuilder bonds. Ray graduated Cum Laude (finance) from New York University's Stern School of Business.
Ray maintains strategic relationships with institutional investment companies, C Suite executives at Fortune 500 firms (including some of the nation’s largest retailers), the banking community, as well as with local developers and operators. He sits on the Board of Directors and Building Committee for Ohel Yaacob Congregation and lives in Brooklyn with his wife and son.
